The Lamp Shell card represents survival. Pulling through a difficult situation may prove traumatic and scarring, but it is nearly always, if only in the slimmest way, possible. Survival can mean many things in any situation, but it is possible to pull through for better or for worse. With their hard shells and long life history on earth these creatures have proven surprisingly resilient given multiple mass extinctions throughout their phylum's history. On their own they are often more fragile than bivalves, but despite this, they still thrive.
