Morosino Della Scalla
2007
Polymer Clay, Acrylic

Once a fine Venetian nobleman, Morosino Della Scalla sold his soul in order to save that of his love, but when she saw what he had done, she fled from him in fear to live her life out in the confines of a nunnery. Morosino, fully blind and half-mad now haunts the derelict ruins of his mansion, quoting Shakespeare, and crawling about like some great insect.
